PC-A9RD480 4gb memory not seen
I have a bit oldo mobo PCA9RD480. I have installed 4x1GB Dimms OCZ but the bios sees only around 2880MB and windows vista 64 2815MB. Anyone knows if this mobo trully supports 4gb ram? Manual says it supports up to 16gb. Using latest bios (though it says it is beta since May 2006).

Yes it does .. I had that board and the Adv and ran 4Gb Crucial Ballistix in them .. worked fine ..
Test the memory with MemTest86** v.4.1 to see if it's not just an issue with faulty DDR causing it not to be recognised ..

If i put any combination of only 2 Dimms recognizes them as 2GB but when i put all 4 cant see more than 2.8GB. Havent run Memtest yet but u sure faulty DDR might be a possibility?
