    i have a PC-A9RD480Adv motherboard i turned on the computer this morning and all i get is blank screen and all fans spinning i tryed to shut it down with the power button by holding for 5sec but it would not shut down i shut it down with the power supply switch fired it back up same thing no post no beeps i pulled the cmos bat an cleared the cmos with jumper i unpluged all the cd drives pulled the ram a fired it back up no beeps nothing any help would be helpful Thanks Harold

    it could be motherboard or CPU. do you have another board to test out CPU and components on?

    Heya,..

    Faulty connection, bad board, short circuit .. all three maybe .. or just a dead board ..

    You'd have to strip down the machine and have it tested .. or strip down machine, rebuild it outside the case and see if that gives any joy .. If it does, then you have a short or a connection wasn't made properly .. If it doesn't and you're sure to have all connectors etc correctly plugged in, possible faulty board which would need testing ..

    i i pulled the cpu and in stalled another and still nothing this mother board has been in this case for about 6 years now an i have neve had a problem with it is ther any kind of kind of tester for the motherboard i can try Thanks

    Heya,..

    You can buy testing kits for almost every component, including mainboards .. depends on whether or not the outlay is worth it for what would seem to be a dead 6yr old mainboard .. I'd take it to a local PC store, ask them if they could test it for you for a nominal fee, they may even do it for nothing if they think you're going to buy a new mainboard off them if it is dead ..
