Default Sapphire Pure Black X58 Ram Problems.. Anyone help please :)

Hello this may be unusual. I am setting up my pc with the pure black x58 motherboard.

I have a corsair vengence 12gb ram bundle (3x 4gb) . I have installed the memory in the correct slots 1, 3 and 5. The bios recognises all three sticks but windows hangs on the windows is loading screen..

Now i have identified that the ram definatly isn't faulty.. If i remove the ram stick from slot 5 the pc will boot into windows and show 8gb as it should.. it just seems to be as soon as the third stick is inserted.
(I have also swapped the sticks around .. same occurs)

I have checked the bios for all voltages for the ram and have attempted to go up in 0.01 on the DRAM voltage no higher than 1.65... the ram itself says it should run at 1.5.

Any help guys would be brilliant
    Cheers Danny

I don't really understand the point here.. you found out that one stick is defective ?

No, read it again - ANY combination of modules run with 2, but inserting ANY one of the others to make it up to all three, causes a hang .. voila ..

ok man.. now i understand. Probably is the third slot defective somehow.. Did you try another kit ? Just to be sure it's the slot who is defective.
