    Default K8 Trito Motherboard Series

    Hello, I have a small problem with knowing or not if my 7 year old motherboard can withstand a new video card.
    I have now a HIS Ati Radeon 9600 Series (256Mb VRAM) and i'm wondering if i can mount and use a SAPPHIRE HD 3450 512MB DDR2 AGP. My max AGP is 8X is my motherboard compatible?

    In theory it should work, but that board is 8 years old and may need a new BIOS to recognise the newer gen AGP cards .. You'd have to ask the techs and the mainboard manufacturer for a 100% confirmation.
