Default Intel Grapics card doesn't accept 3840x1200 resolution

Hi there, I just bought a brand new Windows 7 computer and wanted to connect 2 27 inch monitors using the plug (first tweak resolution) and play VID2X . Reading the manual it appeared the resolution needs to be changed. This Intel Graphic card doesn't allow me to add the 3840x1200 resoltion stating it is too wide....
Does anyone have a tweak for this or do I have to throw the VID2X in the bin and buy a new graphic card?

    Thanks

What connection are you using to hook up your VID-2X with your computer?? DVI?? Thunderbolt (aka DisplayPort)??

If it's DVI, you have to make sure it's a "DUAL-LINK" DVI port that you are using.

EDIT ADDED: Posting the specs of your PC (or the brand/model of your PC if it's a laptop) would be helpful as well.

Hmmmmm... Are you able to get other smaller resolutions (most notably 3840x1080) working??

Either way, I'd highly suggest looking in the manual for the motherboard and seeing what the maximum resolution is for the DVI connection.

I'm going to send this link to my colleague who has more experience working with the Vid-2X.

dk1970 sorry for this inconvenience - ill try to get technician support for you, all of us here are volunteers and provide support for free, but stuff like this - you should definitely open a sapphire ticket - I know this might be a little bit tiresome, but try to sit tight.

Hey, I think I'm having a similar problem with my macbook connected to two 1920x1200 displays. Did anybody find a fix for this?

    Thanks!

    @ dspcougar,
are you sure that your macbook is doing 3840x1200px resolution?
